Amanda B. Frye (1849-1937) was born in Providence, Rhode Island, and died in an unknown location. She became interested in Christian Science after reading Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures and visiting the Massachusetts Metaphysical College. Although she had intended to study with Mary Baker Eddy, there is no record of her doing so.
