Catherine Frost (1820-1891) was born and died in Watkins Glen, New York. In 1885, after seeing an advertisement for Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, her son-in-law, Harvey S. Abbey, wrote to Mary Baker Eddy, asking for information about Christian Science treatment through prayer for Frost and her daughter, Celestia A. Abbey.
