Chauncy A. Freeman (1831-1915) was born in New York and died in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He was a captain of a lake steamer on Lake Michigan and the husband of Frances A. Freeman, a student of Mary Baker Eddy's. Chauncy A. Freeman had also intended to study at the Massachusetts Metaphysical College, but there is no record of him doing so.
