Ervin E. Eldridge (c.1860-1946) was born in Carleton, Nova Scotia, and
died in Littleton, New Hampshire. He was a laborer living in Willowdale, New Hampshire,
a short-lived sawmill community in Grafton County. He was introduced to Christian
Science by Flavia Stickney Knapp, a student of Mary Baker Eddy's. He joined The First
Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, in July 1893 and was a Christian
Science practitioner listed in the directory of
The Christian Science
Journal from 1916 until his passing.
