Alice L. Eaton (b. Eastman) (1850-1929) was born in Corinth, Vermont, and died in Warren, New Hampshire. She moved to Warren in the mid-1880s and remained there for the rest of her life. In 1903 she married Ezra Bartlett Eaton, a retired trader, in Warren. After his death in 1905 she took in boarders and also lived at various times with her brother, her niece, and her nephew. In 1886, she wrote to Mary Baker Eddy to order two copies of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. She joined The First Church of Christ, Scientist, Boston, Massachusetts, on June 9, 1908. Her interest in Christian Science persisted and was mentioned in her obituary.
