Abbie G. Durgin (1846-1910) was born in Boxford, Massachusetts, and died in Tilton, New Hampshire. She first married Albert B. Tilton, Mary Baker Eddy's nephew, in Boxford, Massachusetts, in 1866. After Tilton's passing in 1870, she married William J. Durgin in Tilton in 1873. Her mother-in-law from her first marriage, Mary Baker Eddy's sister Abigail Tilton, left Durgin money and items in her will when she died in 1886. Based on the records available, we have found no further information concerning Durgin's involvement with Christian Science.
