Ellen A. Doe (1838-1919) was born and died in Bradford, Vermont. She was the wife of Nelson R. Doe, a fruit wholesaler living in Bradford. In early 1885, Nelson wrote to Mary Baker Eddy, asking her to take his wife as a patient.
