Mary E. Davis (1835-1901) was born in Plainfield, Vermont, and died in East Montpelier, Vermont. She was introduced to Christian Science by Mrs. T. H. Hale, a student of Mary Baker Eddy's. Although Davis intended to study with Eddy, there is no record of her doing so.
