Susan H. Davidson (1822-1895) was born in Bloomsbury, Pennsylvania, and
died in Wichita, Kansas. She married Stephen L. Davidson in Cuba, New York, in 1846, and
they moved to Wichita in 1872. Davidson was a member of the Methodist church until 1885,
when she became a Christian Scientist. A student of Mary Baker Eddy's, Davidson
completed the Primary class in August 1886 and the Obstetrics class in December 1887.
Davidson was a member of the National Christian Scientist Association and remained a
Christian Scientist until her death.
