Almira R. Curtis (b. Morrill) (1824-1888) was born in Canada and died in Montana. In 1843, in Quebec, she married John C. Curtis. After his death in 1865, she moved to Clinton, Iowa. In 1886, she wrote to Mary Baker Eddy asking for a recommendation for a healing practitioner in Brooklyn, Iowa.
