William I. Currier (1819-1895) was born in Portland, Maine, and died in Brewer, Maine. He worked as a sailmaker and was married to Ann Elizabeth Beale. Currier loaned Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy to Wilbur F. Skinner, who later wrote to Mary Baker Eddy and inquired about Christian Science.
