Lucinda W. Cudworth (1817-1903) was born in Shoreham, Vermont, and died in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She and her son, William H. Cudworth, received Christian Science treatment through prayer from Clara E. Choate, a Boston-based student of Mary Baker Eddy's. William was partners in a dental practice with Silas J. Sawyer, who was also a student of Eddy's. Although Lucinda W. Cudworth expressed an interest in Christian Science, there is no record of her studying with Eddy or uniting with the Church of Christ (Scientist).
