Cynthia Coon
Cynthia Coon (b. Van Alstine) (1827-1903) was born in New York and died
in Flandreau, South Dakota. She married Samuel H. Coon. He was a Civil War veteran,
serving in the 101st Infantry in New York 1861-1862. He then became a farmer. In 1886
and 1887, Coon wrote to Mary Baker Eddy about paying off debts on a property.
