John G. Cooley Jr. (1843-1925) was born in Connecticut and died in Norwich, Connecticut. He married Julia E. Kingsbury in Franklin, Connecticut, in 1865. He was the business manager of Cooley's Weekly, a newspaper in Norwich published by his father. Cooley wrote to Mary Baker Eddy in 1886 to order a copy of Christian Healing. Based on the records available, we have found no further information concerning his involvement with Christian Science.
