Robert Boodey Caverly (1806-1887) was born in Barrington, New Hampshire,
and died in Lowell, Massachusetts. He was a lawyer, graduating from Harvard Law School
in 1837. He practised law first in Limerick, Maine, and then in Lowell, Massachusetts.
He was also an author, publishing a variety of works, including poetry, History of the
Indian Wars of New England, and Annals of the Boodeys in New England.
