Hannah "Annie" M. Burbank (b. Burgess) (1853-1923) was born in Islesboro,
Maine, and died in Boston, Massachusetts. She was a hat and dress maker. Sometime after
1880 she moved to Boston, and during 1889 and 1890 worked in several capacities for Mary
Baker Eddy's household, including sewing dresses for Eddy and doing errands for Calvin
A. Frye. In 1890 she married George W. Burbank, a janitor, in Chelsea,
Massachusetts.
