Anna H. Bumstead (1848-1931) was born in North Conway, New Hampshire, and died in Massachusetts. She married Horace Bumstead in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1872. Julia S. Bartlett, a student of Mary Baker Eddy's, wrote to Eddy in 1886, stating that Bumstead was being healed and that her husband was interested in Christian Science. Based on the records available however, there is no further information concerning the Bumsteads' involvement with Christian Science.
