Sanford W. Buck (1854-1923) was born in Glencoe, Wisconsin, and died in
Gaylord, Michigan. He was the son of Nancy M. Buck, a cousin of Fannie M. Silsbee's, and
he was also the executor of Silsbee's estate. For many years he worked as a cashier at
the Gaylord State Savings bank. Although he expressed an interest in Christian Science,
there is no record of him studying with Mary Baker Eddy or uniting with the Church of
Christ (Scientist).
