Martha E. P. Brown
Martha E. P. Brown (1829-1904) was the younger sister of L. Lucretia S.
Brown. Records suggest that she attended early meetings of the Christian Scientist
Association and that she was one of the original members of the Church of Christ
(Scientist), chartered in 1879. Her name disappears from the Church records in 1880 and
it appears that she left the Christian Science movement at about that time.
