Maria Brooks (1830-1915) was born in Lincoln, Massachusetts, and died in Danvers, Massachusetts. She was a student of Mary Baker Eddy's, studying with her in November 1880. She joined the Christian Scientist Association in December 1880 but her interest in Christian Science appears to have ended in the summer of 1881.
