Rachel Bradley (1851-1936) was born in Randolph, Massachusetts, and died
in Boston, Massachusetts. She was a student of Mary Baker Eddy's, completing the Primary
class in 1883. She joined the Christian Scientist Association in January 1884 and joined
the Church of Christ (Scientist) shortly after. She was the wife of William H. Bradley,
a former treasurer of the Church of Christ (Scientist), who absconded when accused of
stealing money from the Church's building fund. There is no record of Rachel Bradley's
expulsion or withdrawal from the Association or Church, but it appears as though she
drifted away from the Christian Science movement after her husband absconded.
