Alma M. Booth (1861-1935) was born in Linn, Iowa, and died in Boston,
Massachusetts. She married Richard H. Booth in Linn in 1878. She joined The First Church
of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, on September 30, 1893. The Booths were
both students of Janet T. Colman's, and they completed her Primary (1893) and Normal
(1896) courses. Booth was listed in the directory of
The Christian
Science Journal as a Christian Science practitioner in Massachusetts from 1896
to 1901 and in Iowa from 1904 to 1907.
