M. D. Bell (?-?) was a resident of Warren, Pennsylvania. She became
interested in Christian Science in the summer of 1884 when she visited Chicago. While
there, she received Christian Science treatment through prayer from Ellen Brown Linscott
(formerly Ellen Brown) and also began studying Science and Health with
Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.
