Mary A. Baker (1852-1919) was born in Leicester, Massachusetts, and died in West Boylston, Massachusetts. She became interested in Christian Science in 1884 while living in Worcester, Massachusetts. Baker studied with Albert B. Dorman, a student of Mary Baker Eddy's, but she was dissatisfied with his teaching, and it appears that her interest in Christian Science ended shortly after.
