Mary A. Bagley (c.1837-1894) was born in Hartland, Vermont, and died in
Salt Lake City, Utah. She became interested in Christian Science in early 1886, while
living in Montrose, Colorado. In 1887 she studied with Mary Baker Eddy, taking the
Normal class at the Massachusetts Metaphysical College. Soon after graduating from the
College she moved to Salt Lake where she became a Christian Science practitioner and
teacher listed in the directory of
The Christian Science
Journal.
