Lucina F. Babcock (1821-1912) was born in New York and died in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was the mother of Emma D. Behan and Jennie B. Fenn, both students of Mary Baker Eddy's who helped grow the Christian Science movement in Missouri and Nebraska, respectively. Babcock joined The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, on March 31, 1894. She was listed alongside her daughter, Emma, in the directory of The Christian Science Journal as a Christian Science practitioner at the Missouri Christian Science Institute in 1898 and 1899.
