Elizabeth S. Averill (b. Meaker) (1833-1893) was born in Peru, New York, and died in Barre, Vermont. She married Ambrose B. Averill, a farmer, in Barre in 1850. Averill wrote to Mary Baker Eddy in 1886 to order copies of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures and The Christian Science Journal.
