E. Gertrude Allyn (1867-?) was born in Newburgh, New York, and died in an
unknown location. She was the daughter of Lucie A. Allyn, who was healed by a student of
Mary Baker Eddy's in 1885. In 1886 Lucie wrote a letter to Eddy indicating that she and
Gertrude were studying Christian Science and were interested in taking a course with
Eddy, but there is no record that they did so.
