Adelaide E. Allen (1852-1930) was born in Washington, Iowa, and died in Evanston, Illinois. She became interested in Christian Science in 1885 and wrote to Mary Baker Eddy. There is no record of Allen studying with Eddy or joining The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts.
