My dear Student

The only thing I have done here that does hurt my feelings and disappoint me is that I could not have known that I was to leave so soon I must finish my classEditorial Note: Mary Baker Eddy taught a class in Chicago, Illinois in May 1884. today and put two lessons in one that throws out the next lesson which was appointed for tomorrow when I got Mrs Crosse to write you of my appointment

Circumstances compel As Written: compell me to start Thursday instead of Friday and I must have one day that I can get alone before packing which will be tomorrow I had to finish my class today Now do not blame me for I could not avoid it I felt very sorry and said before the class I was sorry to have you absent as I had to leave, which caused it Come and sit in my class in Boston sometime
