From what source are you receiving such marvelous revelations, that you vainly suppose yourself capable of instructing your teacher of Christian Science. Your letter manifests anything but a christian scientist's As Written: scientists developmentAs Written:developement.

Your charge that Mrs. Eddy and I, are "taking up the sword"Matt 26:50 And Jesus said unto him, Friend, wherefore art thou come? Then came they, and laid hands on Jesus, and took him. Matt 26:51 And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest’s, and smote off his ear. Matt 26:52 Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword. against you is a mistake; you were entirely out of our thoughts upon the receipt of your letter. We have no desire to hinder you in any good word or work.

In regard to your dues to the C. S. A. or dismission therefrom, we know nothing about that; all communications on that subject should be addres sed to the Secratary Mr. J- A. Linfield.
