Dear Student,

I have delayed to write you business has been so pressing. Won't you let me hear from you and tell me you are well and living nearer and nearer to TheeEditorial Note: This is possibly an allusion to words from the hymn, “Nearer, My God, to Thee,” written in 1841 by English poet and hymn writer, Sarah Flower Adams (1805-1848)., the divine Principle of our being. I never lose interest in my students, and if they get away from the fold and stray from the flock - I pray the Father for them; I can never return evil for evilI Pet 3:8 Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: I Pet 3:9 Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. , that is impossible for me. I cannot argue mentally, I never began there, - but I can and do carry all my students in the arms of love, not knowing how it is with them - to the heart of God there to leave them in his divine care. And he who watcheth the sparrow's fallMatt 10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. will keep them I trust and guide them into all TruthJohn 16:12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. John 16:14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. .

This I beg as a Mother would plead with you to watch and pray lest you enter into temptationMatt 26:41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. Mark 14:38 Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak. . The enemy of Christ is at work whispering into the unconscious mind such wicked thoughts, and hiding their crimes by telling their victims I am doing it - when I am happy, only, in the prosperity of my students.

Ever truly
