Dear Student.

You asked my advice with apparent sincerity last eve. I need help but not council. are you aware of that need of mine as much as of your own? Help of the sincere ChristianAs Written: christian , who is working not from the motive of self. The last time I gave you my advice you mocked it, I will try it the third time as oft as the cock crew to Peter before he denied JesusMatt 26:33 Peter answered and said unto him, Though all men shall be offended because of thee, yet will I never be offended. Matt 26:34 Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. Matt 26:35 Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples. Mark 14:29 But Peter said unto him, Although all shall be offended, yet will not I. Mark 14:30 And Jesus saith unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this day, even in this night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. Mark 14:31 But he spake the more vehemently, If I should die with thee, I will not deny thee in any wise. Likewise also said they all. Luke 22:33 And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death. Luke 22:34 And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me. John 13:36 ¶Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards. John 13:37 Peter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake. John 13:38 Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice. .

This is my candid conclusion that because the people are believing you the cause of pretty much all their disasters, you had better withdraw from the Church and Association, and not attend our meetings of the students. I have fought in your defense As Written: defence seven years on this very question and at the end of all this fidelity I hear of your accusing me publicly of working against you because I am envious of your popularity, etc. etc.

Now I shall not go on casting pearls before swine for them to turn again and rend meMatt 7:6 ¶Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you. . Jesus said "If ye love me keep my commandments"John 14:15 ¶If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Your faithful teacher
M. B. G. Eddy.

N. B. I am looking after this question of malpractice and shall learn for myself it and give my verdict when God requires it. I have given this council to you in love and with a view to your best interest and hope you will accord me the justice of feeling, and this saying this if ever you speak of it. I can see beyond others what the future has in store for us all.

As ever yours faithfully
