Casting about for someoneAs Written:some one suitably to read her brief address to the Concord Church at the Dedication, Sunday July 17th. our dear Leader has selected you, and with her compliments, sends request that you report here, not later than Saturday morning, preferably on Friday evening, if you can, to receive the copy of the address, so as to familiarize yourself therewith, in due season. She also directs me to say to you that she has had much pleasure in reading your lectures, and finds them very satisfying. Note that it will be obligatory upon you to keep this matter as a sacred secret, lest the enemy get hold of it; the writer will give you some further instructions as to the care of the copy to be entrusted to you, on your arrival. A room has been reserved for you at the Eagle Hotel, but in case you had already engaged quarters we will cancel ours. Your telegramEditorial Note: See 341.46.003. has just been received.
