Mr.
Dear Sir: —

I had not heard of your family trouble, to the extent that it has reached, until a few days ago.

My sympathies are with you both. I regret exceedingly that there should be this sad separation, but have writtenEditorial Note: See L13916 to your wife through an amanuensis recommending to her not to strive in any way against the wishes of her husband.

I hope God will reconcile this difficulty and make you both happy in following the path that He points out for you. Can I in any way help you by advising your wife? The happiness of you both I regard as very sacred

Respectfully
M. B. G. Eddy
