My dear Student: –

Have you made known the contents of my Letter? Something is at work that seems to be more than I can bear Please return my "Letter to the Public" to me. I want to remain with you on earth long enough to see my revised edition of Science & HealthEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy published, I need say no more. Do you understand?

Do not speak of the contents of this letter or of the one to the public Do not take me personally for authority but take Science & Health instead.

Do not take me up, that will not help but without putting your mind on me, know "this is not real. Shall thank you all the same.
