In consideration of the sum of three hundred dollarsEditorial Note: $300.00 in 1871 is the equivalent of $6,364.22 in 2020. paid me by Wallace W. Wright, of Lynn, MassachusettsAs Written:Mass. for instruction by which he will be enabled to heal the sick by the use of the method which I employ, I do hereby agree to qualify him during my term of tuition, three weeks, for this practice, so far as the principle is understood. Upon failure to do this, I hereby further agree to refund said sum to the said Wright.
