I am thankful As Written: thankfull to be able to say that the absence from Boston the solitude and my letters have done much for Miss B. She is nearer to what I so earnestly desire for her But it is best she remains here to work at presen[*]Gap: letter.Reason: page cut. in another field than taking classes
