After I received your lineEditorial Note: This letter is not extant. I went to the Express Office and by getting a gentleman to look in as a voucher I got the money, Please next time send your name on the Envelope and my full name and number.

I am pleased to find you are doing quite a heavy business, and hope you will do all in happiness and prosperity. I have the front ranks of the battlefieldAs Written:battle field as yet when I am gone some of you will step forward and bear the blows in your turn, as it is you all have enough to suffer

Now before I forget it again I want to know if you have received a copy of the manuscriptsAs Written:MSS I gave my classes here if not I will give you one as they are in advance of yours
