My dear Student,

When you were here you will remember I told you I had sent an article to Dr. Avery to put in a Chicago Newspaper denying that ever Mr Swarts had taken a course of instructions of me etc. The letter requested Avery to answer me at once. No answer came My letter was mailed Sept. 29. The 28th of Oct. I telegraphed requesting an answer none came Oct. 12. I telegraphed again requesting an immediate answer to whether my letter and telegram had been received and to know if he had got my article published and no reply has come yet to one of these telegrams or the letter Now dear can't you see a deep plot ripening

I had it all in visions before it took place. Now don't you fail to find out if Avery has receivedAs Written:rec'd those as above. "Be wise as a serpent"Matt 10:16 ¶Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. find out where the traitor is, who he is!
