My dear StudentsEditorial Note: Clara E. Choate and George D. Choate,

I have a very unpleasant task to perform, namely, to warn you against having anythingAs Written:any thing to do with Mrs. Josephine Woodbury, if you do she will get you into trouble She is doing this all the time to the rest of us. She tells such. falsehoods. Her last trick to me was to put into our Journal an article on my Church serviceEditorial Note: See “Summer Communion Service” by Josephine Curtis Woodbury on pages 95-96 of the July 1886 Christian Science Journal. and give verbatim as her own, my solemn Charge to newly made members that I gave on Sunday.

Now do not let her know of this letter and have nothing to say about me.

I have helped her more than most any student because she was so wrong, and now she serves our causeEditorial Note: The cause of Christian Science. these terrible tricks
