My dear Sarah,

My vision is fulfilled and also the fortune dear Mrs. Gale has promised me a cottage and it would have been here the one she occupies but that it was sold before I came Now this is my present business that you will learn the price of the one we passed that you said was for sale I believe it was 6,00$Editorial Note: $600 in 1868 is the equivalent of $10,935.70 in 2020. and also the terms of payment ascertain if the owner would receive a part in payment upon purchasing it and take a mortgage As Written: motgage on the property for one year until it is paid. Mrs. Gale has so much to pay out this year that it would be more convenient to do so

Please answer at once and I will not only bless you for so many favors but pay you a little towards remuneration
