My dear Mr. Wiggin

This letter of mineEditorial Note: See L02226. was dictated, but I was ignorant of the entire matter on its business basis

I humbly, tearfully, read it, now, and your noble businessAs Written:businiss-like report — and wish it had not been written.

I have spoken of you always, as a model in promptness, uprightness, executiveness,-and have felt all I said.

Pardon me this once and I never will give you another occasion of this kind to grant me such a favor

A word in explanation. I was given to understand that you delayed the work, and not the Press.Editorial Note: University Press

I felt pushed to make somebody move. My letters, from Europe especially, demand a speedy consummation As Written: consumation of this whole business Mr. Wilson ought to print my bookEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy faster. He cou finish the printing in three weeks, if he keeps his agreement with my Publisher, and I trust he will. I return the proofs I get on the day they are received. By all means go on with me to the end.

[*]Archival Note: There is a large parenthesis on the right hand side of the text.you even will be proud of Science and Health someday As Written: some day [*]Archival Note: End of large parenthesis on right hand side of the text.

Ever truly and gratefully
M B G Eddy
