Your excellent letterEditorial Note: See 382.50.047. came duly. It was refreshing to hear from you. I wish more that I could talk with you, the hour is imminentAs Written:immanent.

Alas! who knows it! who hath believed my reportIsa 53:1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed? John 12:37 ¶But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him: John 12:38 That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed? , who sees the signs of these times?Matt 16:1 The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven. Matt 16:2 He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red. Matt 16:3 And in the morning, It will be foul weather to-day: for the sky is red and lowering. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times? Matt 16:4 A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed. I need you every hourEditorial Note: This is an allusion to the hymn "I Need Thee every hour," with words by Annie Sherwood Hawks (1836-1918) and music by Robert Lowry (1826-1899)., but will wait patiently until you come, knowing as I do your resolve is made and so you are comparatively in the field. Yes, you are doing good where ever you are. The vow of your soul is recorded — "as for me I will serve the Lord."Josh 24:14 ¶Now therefore fear the Lord, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the Lord. Josh 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Bless the dear heart, O! my Father, that has thus subscribedAs Written:suscribed to thee, keep it tenderly, instruct it gently, make it wholly Thine. Come as soon as you can and the God of peace be with youRom 15:33 Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen. II Cor 13:11 Finally, brethren, farewell.
