Eddy had received a letter (041.14.015) from her student, Julia S. Bartlett, saying that the phrase was inhibiting Sourtherners from accepting the book. Cannot, of course, be made, unless you make the Index to correspond. Let Mr. Wiggin know, & he will make the changes in the Index to be sent to us.
