Perhaps you will be glad to know of my safe arrival home. and very soon after my return I was solicited to teach a few who said they could not pay a hundred dollarsEditorial Note: $100.00 in 1886 is the equivalent of $3,241.51 in 2023., but would be willing to pay fiftyEditorial Note: $50.00 in 1886 is the equivalent of $1,620.76 in 2023.: so after due consideration and taking into account the fact that Swartz is here, canvassing all these towns for classes and offers to teach his method for twenty five dollarsEditorial Note: $25.00 in 1886 is the equivalent of $810.38 in 2023. and stating to all that he is one of Mrs Eddys Students and understands the whole thing which is just the same as the Mental Science only Mrs Eddy and her Students narrow it for the purpose of moneymakingAs Written:money making: so after thinking all these things over I have concluded to do my best to start them on the right road and Swartz says Mrs Eddy has a little work for teachers only, and that he has a copy and uses it in teaching his classes- that it contains Recapitulation and other thoughts by Mrs Eddy: now if there is such a book please send it to me at once Cash On DeliveryAs Written:C O D and I will make the best possible use of it and if it is intended only for the Normal Students it shall be confidential with me. I write to you for the reason that I did not want to disturb Mrs Eddy.
