My Dear Mrs. Crosse,

The pamphlets are receivedAs Written:rec'd. I find them very useful to a certain class of people. I would like to have 1 dozenAs Written:doz- "Defence of Christian Science-" and one dozenAs Written:doz- "Historical Sketch of Mental Healing"– also several of those slips regarding the difference between the ScienceEditorial Note: Christian Science and Mesmerism

I enclose the order- Mrs- Root and Mrs- Hill are working hard here– and we are working hard also– It seems wherever the Truth is planted, there the enemy also follows – but we know that "Truth will prevail" in the end.

Yours sincerely
