Dear Mrs Eddy,

Pardon me for troubling you about business matters. but last spring I wrote to youEditorial Note: See 726b.90.040. enclosing eight dollars, and thirty four cts.Editorial Note: $8.34 in 1886 is the equivalent of $270.34 in 2023. six .dollars thirty four cts.Editorial Note: $6.34 in 1886 is the equivalent of $205.51 in 2023. for two volumesAs Written:vol, and postage, of Science and HealthEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. one dollarEditorial Note: $1.00 in 1886 is the equivalent of $32.42 in 2023. for the first year's As Written: years numbers of the Journals. and one dollar for the present year's As Written: years numbers, to commence with the first number of volumeAs Written:vol four, to be sent to Miss Rebecca Harr. all came promptly, but the last which has never been received. I do not remember to have sent you the money for the coming year, which commences with the August number. Will you please apply money on the Journal in my name, as I had advanced it for her. I wish also to have the latest edition with likeness of the author of Science and Health. if it is published in two volumesAs Written:vol. would prefer them. should like extra likenesses. for those here who have your books. am willing to pay for them if I knew the price. for one half dozenAs Written:doz. also. wish for four copies of Phare Pleigh's book. Christian Science and the Bible, would like them as soon as possible. I am still hoping As Written: hopeing sometime to receive personal instruction from you. I read. and reread. many times. and hope I am growing into the perfect understanding of your teachings. I would like very much to receive a letter from you. but know your time is very precious to many. I have often thought. of writing to you. asking you to make clear something that I do not understand, but the light comes, often unexpectedly. had I more leisure. I think it would be much clearer. to me. I do believe that you are God inspired. and thank the giver of all good that you have been shown the way. and are permitted to show others the way, to deny all evil, I have from the first knowledge of the ScienceEditorial Note: Christian Science been ready to accept and believe it.
