Editorial Note: Wescott is replying to a letter (not extant) from Mary Baker Eddy dated June 25,
1883. She tells Eddy that at the present time she is prepared to study Christian Science
only to a limited degree. She would enjoy a long conference with Eddy but feels that
since Eddy's time is valuable, it would not be wise to do so. She hopes that her financial
situation will change in future so that she could do more. Wescott would like to send
her niece to Eddy to learn Christian Science.
