Dear Madam:

Some time since I wrote a letter of inquiry addressed to you, which was answered by Mr C. A. Frye, Wishing to learn still more of your so-called scienceEditorial Note: Christian Science, and of the College, I addressed my secondAs Written:sec. letter to him, but having receivedAs Written:rec’d no reply, I make the third attempt hoping this letter will be given into your hands. Although I do not wish to encroach upon your valuable time, There are some questions I should like to ask you directly; and I shall consider it a great privilege to receive a line from one who has born the means of reestablishing upon the earth, the Bible method of healing.

I am deeply interested in this new doctrine and wish to learn more about the College. Have you any catalogues, if so please send me one, also, some sample copies of your paper. I am trying to get subscribers for it. Can you not sell your book “Science & Health”Editorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. one volume at a time?

Will you please tell me how long a person has to attend the College in order to become a healer? Do all who attend make healers?

You make reduction to those unable to pay full price I see. Please tell me how much you do charge,1/3 reduction I want to attend very much, but shall have to wait a long while first before I can earn enough to pay my tuition I fear, And I am anxious to learn very soon for I wish to become strong myself and help my Mother and friends to good health if possible. Do you have a boarding house connected with the College, or any place where we could do something to pay for board? It will be up hill work for me, but I most earnestly desire to become imbued with the spirit and power from on high, that shall be able to vanquish disease, and say to the afflicted, to those every whit wholeJohn 7:23 If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day? .

Will you please be so kind as to reply as soon as possible, as I shall await eagerly your answer.
